About the founder.
 |
In 1996, while meditating in the mountains of South Korea, Woo Myung achieved enlightenment and became Truth. That same year he founded Maum Meditation and began teaching people Truth. Thousands of people have become Truth through the practice of his unique and precise method of discarding the false picture world.
He was awarded the Mahatma Gandhi Peace Award by the United Nations International Association of Educators for World Peace (IAEWP) in 2002. Woo Myung has also been appointed as a United Nations World Peace Ambassador
because of his outstanding dedication to the service of humanity.
He is the author of numerous books including [Stop Living in This Land. Go To The Everlasting World of Happiness. Live There Forever.] [World Beyond World] and [The Way To Become A Person In Heaven While Living] which have been published in English.
His other books, [Where You Become True Is The Place Of Truth], [Heaven's Formula For Saving The World], [The Living Eternal World], [The Book Of Wisdom], [Mind], [Nature's Flow] and [The Enlightened World] are in the process of being translated into English as well as Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish |

Maum Meditation allows you to return to the true world by cleansing the false world.
If you see from the perspective of the True world, you can know all of the principle of the world, as well as where man goes when he dies.
Since man is completely dead, trapped in his own mind world which is a false world, he knows nothing.
All religious scriptures were seen and spoken from the True world. True world is the infinite universe, the never-changing, everlasting Truth. The infinite universe is living and non-material. It is real existence that existed forever before, exists now, and will exist forever. |
Because this is non-material, people cannot see, hear, touch, smell or taste it, yet this existence is alive. Only this existence is eternal, never-changing. It is the origin or root of every creation in the universe. Everything in the universe came from this existence
When you cleanse your false world, you return to the true world, the body and mind of the universe. Although the physical body disappears, you will live forever in the true world. The true world is the everlasting, never -changing God; the original nature and true mind of every man.
Maum Meditation teaches the method of destroying the false world, being reborn in the True world, and living eternally in the True world. The one who is born in the True world which is human completion while living will live forever. The one who lives in the false world just dies and that's it.
Maum Meditation is a simple method of subtraction that allows you to become free of your human mind by changing to the infinite universe mind.
The human mind is an accumulation of pictures that is stored within your mind and body. These pictures are taken by the eyes, nose, ears, mouth, and body, which is a five-senses camera. These pictures dictate thoughts, emotions, desires, behaviors and health. Although they are illusions, humans unknowingly live inside the illusions in their mind thinking that they are real.
Through Maum Meditation, you will become free of the pictures, free of the incessant recording, hence, become free from the illusionary false world which is the human mind. No longer trapped in the human mind, you will find your true purpose, and reach the state of eternal happiness when reborn in the universe mind.

Who we are?
Maum Meditation began in November 1996.
Currently, there are 318 meditation centers located throughout the world where over 300,000 people have practiced cleansing the mind and body using the simple and precise method to become Truth.
Maum means the mind, soul and spirit. What is the mind? Historically, one of the biggest obstacles in over

This prevented everyone from discovering who we are and how to become the true self.
Maum Meditation distinctly defines the mind as an accumulation of pictures stored within the body and mind. These pictures are made up of memories of past experiences. They are taken with the eyes, ears, nose, and body, and stored in the mind throughout life. The pictures mold us into the pattern of thinking, how we react, and habitual behavior that are not our true self.
These pictures stored in the mind hold the emotions, thoughts and attachments to people, places and things. They create the individual's picture world. As you practice Maum Meditation, you will realize the mind that was filled with pictures from the past being cleansed, eliminating all burdens. You will live in freedom.
Now, you are able to know and become Truth, whereas previously you could only read and hear about Truth.You will know the answers to the basic questions in life:
Who am I? Where do I come from? Where do I go when I die? Why do I live? What happens to me when I die?
You will discover all the answers to these questions through wisdom when you cleanse your false mind. You can cleanse your mind through the method of Maum Meditation. The technique involves a simple step by step method that anyone can easily follow. There are eight levels in Maum Meditation. After completing just the first level you will experience the cleansing of the mind.
